A380 Medal for outstanding commitment and achievements for Hamburg as a place for aviation

For more than thirteen years, Carmen Krause-Bösterling was the defining face of the Crystal Cabin Award and project manager at Hamburg Aviation, most recently also in a leading role at the aviation cluster's young talent award.

Due to her achievements, especially with building and supporting the Crystal Cabin Award, the world's leading award for aircraft cabin products, she was awarded the A380 Medal by the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The recognition stands in particular for outstanding commitment and achievements for Hamburg as a place for aviation.

"Apart from the applicants and supporters I would like to give an especially warm thank you to those people who commit their free time and energy to bringing aircraft interior innovation forward - the CCA Judging Panel, a group of high calibre experts - and I must say I have also had a lot of fun with them for the last 13 years. They showed me that experts can even become family and friends", says Carmen Krause-Bösterling.
