The Com.pax system is an innovative mobility solution which alleviates aisle-constraint and allows the needs of passengers flying with physical disabilities to be met with satisfaction. The 2-in-1 system consists of a base element, which is integrated into the slide-rails, and the Com.pax wheelchair, or mobile boarding chair, which simply clicks into the base. To position Com.pax into the base element the wheelchair simply locks into it's base with a safety catch mechanism.
